Tribute to Martin Luther King Jr
40th Anniversary of the "I Have A Dream" Speech
(extract version)
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of it's creed
"We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal"
I have a dream that one day of the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today.
We will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, jews and gentiles, protestants and catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old negro spiritual.
Free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty, we are free at last!
I have a dream!

Pre-AEMF Escape to the Powerhouse - Zouk Rhythm 1 CD Launch & Green Velvet - Schhtung & ONE @ Zouk
Due to unforseen circumstances, I will not be able to attend the above-mentioned events over the weekend but instead will be toiling away til the wee hours of the morning on location-shoots at various points on the island. It is sorely regretted that I will be missing out on JXL and NuBreed's first excursion in south-east asia. Do have plenty of fun and party twice as hard for me.
Best regards
PS: Thanks to Dan & Adam for filling in for me this weekend. Much appreciated.

This one's for Adam C. =)
If anyone has heard of a Flash Mob, there's a second one coming up here this weekend. If you're interested, follow what they say here. =)
Thanks much to everyone who made it for the rather quiet but amusing
Test Mob: The Spontaneous Orchestra on July 17th. The phones might
have not gone off at the same time and while we didn't exactly form
a particularly large mob, all that mattered was that you were there.
And that's very encouraging. So hurrah! And kudos too to those who
gave it some thought but didn't turn up.
---
It's been almost a month since and we've got the logistics all
planned out to have a truly serendipitous/spontaneous affair. So
again you're invited to take part in the project that's created an
inexplicable mob of people for a couple of minutes around the
world... and now in Singapore. Please forward this to other people
you know who might like to join.
Flash Mob SG #1.5
Start time: Saturday, August 16th, 2:15pm
Duration: 2 minutes or less
INSTRUCTIONS:
(1) At some point in the morning on August 16th, synchronize your
watch to http://www.singaporestandardtime.org.sg. This is important,
we need the accuracy.
(2) By 1:30 PM, based on the month of your birth, please situate
yourselves around the places below. Get a drink, have lunch, check
out the guys/chicks, read a book, act casual. Oh, if you are
attending with friends, you may all meet at the same place so long
as at least one of you has the correct birth month for that spot.
Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr: Coffee Club Express (cafe in Kinokuniya, outdoor
seating), Ngee Ann City
May, Jun, Jul, Aug: Subway (seats closest to the Japanese
restaurant),
Orchard Hotel Shopping Arcade
Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec: Burger King (seats closest to the Orange Julius
stand),
Liat Towers
(3) Then or soon thereafter, a representative will appear to pass
around further instructions. Calmly approach him/her and get your
set of instructions. The instructions will specify the mob site, the
start time, and the exact duration. The instructions will give you
what you need and then some.
(4) In particular, the instructions will tell you when to disperse.
Make sure that two minutes after the specified time, you are no
longer at the mob site.
(5) Return to what you otherwise would have been doing, and
gleefully wait for instructions for Mob #2.
NOTE:
If you are curious as to what the flash mob phenomenon is all about,
http://www.cheesebikini.com will tell you all about it and provide
some good reference sites. This is a highly peaceful, non-commercial
project designed purely for mindless fun. Hey, all work and play
makes... yadda yadda yadda. And you've heard and read about how it's
started/happened and is spreading worldwide so it's high time we saw
the action here. Just a friendly note, it's not been stressed enough
that the project is not designed to harm anyone or cause nuisance to
others. Please follow the instructions carefully and oh... behave.
Meanwhile, stay chirpy and sane...

we're supposed to "acquire" them? they recommendations? LOL
I thought it was just one of those like "what did you do today" type things hahaha....
I cannot "acquire" anything any more. I've been banned by the mudder & the fudder since kazaa started sueing individuals.
So i live a dull dull life. I feel empty and lost. I need direction... I need to be a pirate!
hehehe demonstration of lack of proper sleep over prolonged periods of time....
LURVE TO ALL!
i'm just wondering, do you guys actually go ahead and "acquire" these tracks that we recommend on the sundays?

The Story Of Kogepan
by way of
Astralbeats
just realised it's been a long time since i posted anything.
life's been fair, not much one can complain about.
oh anyways i just wanted to write something. and there are 2 strange lines that i loved to use in the past few days.
I have no idea why
"I'd sooner slit my wrists" & "how do i love thee? let me count the ways..."
it just amuses me....
I'm happening by myself obviously... hehehe.... ok thou shalt shutteth uppeth...
LOVE & HAPPINESS
hey guys,
know you haven't heard from any of us in melbourne for a long time... but anyways a big hello to everyone and a big kiss as well.
here's the lodown of our house -
the telephone line has been cut, hence the lack of appearances on icq and msn, as well as the sudden lack of long emo emails.
well we're also all fucking broke. not to say we've been extravagant in partying or buying rubbish things (marc and i have bought ourselves a gamecube with a wavebird (thats this fucking kikass wireless controller) armed with mario party and zelda. we can afford this through our budgeting at the beginning of the month btw...), in fact we haven't gone out at all! here's a list of what/who we didn't see
death in vegas, goldfrapp, ladytron, coldplay, placebo, mum, kenny dope, radiohead (!!!!!!!! i didn't even fucking know they were coming and now i live my life in vain and disdain, not to mention regret x10000). i think the list is sufficient to illustrate my point - we are sooo not having fun!
we have an extra room now available since the 5th member of the house adrian moved out... any takers? :) any of you would be welcome by us you may be assured. rent is 372 a month and it's conveniently located near queen vic market. come on! we want you guys here! all of you can split the room lah howbouritz?
sigh...
we are dead without you all.
ps: when are the zouk soo-vee-nears coming our way? ;)! hahahah...
